Great Panes began its operation in 1992, but the journey of passion and dedication started much earlier. As a child, I developed a love for designing, fabrics, and sewing under the guidance of my mother, Peggy Wegman, a talented seamstress. This passion only grew stronger as I pursued my favorite electives in sewing and tailoring during my high school years. While my education took me down a different path with a degree in nursing, my creative spark remained ignited.

After 18 years of fulfilling my nursing career, I decided to follow my true passion and launch Great Panes. My husband, Paul, and family encouraged me to take the leap, and my brother-in-law, Steve Hogan, graciously gifted me the name of my business. My journey to becoming a true window treatment specialist and expert required intense education, and I continue to stay updated through professional conferences, seminars, and trade shows.
