Schmuck Lumber Co. has been a family owned and operated business in Hanover, PA, since 1852. Founded by Henry Schmuck, a prominent community leader, we primarily sold lumber and coal. Over the years, we grew to include other products including: windows, roofing materials, plywood, drywall, hardware, and much more.

We offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our customers. Our team of experts includes outside sales, installed sales, kitchen and bath design, inside sales, accounting, and carpentry.
Our Outside Sales Team includes Tommy Hartlaub, Mike Dzbynski, and Michael Livelsberger. They perform blueprint takeoffs, jobsite measuring for windows, doors and other products. With 75 years of combined industry experience, they understand the value of taking care of our customers.
Our Installed Sales Team includes Steven Sager, Mike Ormond, Chris Watson and Brian Sipling. From garage doors to decks to windows and entry doors, our expert staff will assist you with all of your installation needs.
Our Kitchen & Bath Team includes Whitney Rife and Kim Sterner. Their expertise in design, cabinetry, countertops and tile allow them to see your project through from start to finish!
Our Inside Sales Team includes Cole Allen, Rick Fuhrman, Richard Flickinger, John Hood, Kerry Klinedinst and Benjamin Carbaugh. We would argue that we have the best inside sales team in all of Pennsylvania because of their knowledge. Our finance team includes Beckie Oaster and Terry Petry. Beckie and Terry ensure vendors are paid on time as well as keep track of homeowner and contractor statements.
Our Yard Team is responsible for receiving material into SLC stock as well as loading your trucks when you pull in our yard. This friendly group will make sure your experience at SLC is top notch!
