Established in 1974 and situated in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, D-M Products, Inc. (DMP) has carved its niche as a prominent contract glazing company within the industry. Our area of specialization encompasses the sales and installation of aluminum curtain walls, windows, skylights, and an array of associated glazing products. We primarily cater to the needs of the Corporate, University, and Healthcare sectors, boasting a track record of successfully completing major construction and renovation projects spanning Western and Central Pennsylvania and West Virginia. As we approach our 50th year in business, we take immense pride in the quality of work we deliver and are dedicated to exceeding our clients' expectations on every project, regardless of its scope or complexity.

Our History

D-M Products, Inc. was founded in 1974 by Dick Macurak, Sr., a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience at United Plate Glass. Dick's entrepreneurial spirit and keen understanding of the market led him to establish a glazing company in the Pittsburgh region. The early years were marked by dedication and hard work, with the company initially focusing on commercial and residential window sales and installations. Driven by an unwavering passion for growth and a steadfast commitment to detail and quality, Dick fostered strong relationships with general contractors and architects, laying the groundwork for the company's future success.

The decade of the 1980s witnessed substantial expansion for DMP. Notably, a major contract was awarded in 1982 to replace over 3,000 windows in the iconic Koppers and Chamber of Commerce buildings in Pittsburgh. In 1988, the company marked a pivotal milestone by installing its first unitized curtainwall system at the University of Pittsburgh BST I, demonstrating its commitment to embracing innovative technology and expanding its service offerings.

Under the continued leadership of Dick Jr., who joined the firm in 1981, and guided by a dedicated and passionate staff, DMP continued to flourish. Word of its commitment to excellence and ability to execute large, complex projects spread, solidifying its reputation as a trusted partner in the construction industry. To date, DMP has successfully installed well over one million square feet of unitized curtainwall in the region, a testament to its expertise and experience.

In 2022, the company entered a new era with Mike Macurak taking the helm, becoming the third generation to lead D-M Products, Inc. Carrying forward the core values and unwavering integrity instilled by his predecessors, Mike is poised to guide the company towards its next 50 years of sustained success.

We collaborate closely with our highly esteemed manufacturing partners who produce the aluminum and glass components we expertly install utilizing our own seasoned union workforce.

We are strong advocates for Design Assist methodology in construction. This collaborative approach fosters seamless teamwork, significantly streamlines product manufacturing and timely delivery to the site, and presents invaluable opportunities to optimize project schedules. Engaging our manufacturers early in the project lifecycle allows us to work hand-in-hand with the architect, contributing to a design process that prioritizes constructability and efficiency.
