At Caldwell's Windoware, we take pride in being a family-owned business that has been in the window treatment industry for over 65 years. Since 1954, we have been fulfilling the window covering needs of commercial, healthcare, hospitality, residential, government, and educational institutions throughout the Tri-state region. Our commitment to customer service and quality products has made us a trusted partner for many design firms, businesses, and institutions.

Our Story

Our journey began with founder Ray Gensler Sr., who started the company based on customer service and a desire to provide good value for the price. Over the years, ownership has passed through the generations, with Ray Jr., Ned, and Greg Gensler, and son-in-law Stan Nowak, all contributing to the company's growth and success. Today, Ray III and Terry Gensler strive to maintain the same high standards of quality and customer service that have made us a leader in the industry.

Our custom drapery workroom is located in Pittsburgh's West End, where we have a team of skilled seamstresses who can create custom-made products such as valances, swags, cornices, and quilted comforters.
