Our History

Our company was founded in 1994 by Voytek Kaniewski and Yarek Ostaniewicz, who met while working as general contractors in New York. They began by installing windows and relied on a local manufacturer to provide the product as needed. However, as their business grew, they found themselves becoming a familiar fixture at the local window manufacturer, who was feeling pressured to keep up with their demand. It was then that the owner jokingly suggested they start making their own windows. Voytek and Yarek took this comment seriously and decided to take the leap.

Our Commitment

Since our inception, OKNA Windows & Doors has continued to grow and redefine our commitment to satisfaction and evolution of our products. We have expanded our facility to 220,000 square feet and have increased our workforce to over 200 employees. We distribute throughout the Midwest and East Coast with an ever-expanding network of top-quality dealers serving the residential and commercial markets.
