Omaha Door & Window's rich history dates back to 1959, when founder Leo Murnan and his partner Joe Nothomb started the company. Initially known as Omaha Door Company, the duo started by selling garage doors and openers. Over the years, the company has undergone significant growth, expansion, and name changes. In the early 1970s, the company introduced patio doors and small glass jobs, which led to the name change to Omaha Door & Glass. The 1980s saw the addition of commercial walk-through doors and the renaming to Omaha Door & Window.

Our Story

In 1960, the company had 30 employees, and by the late 1960s, the company had expanded its product lines to include patio doors and glass jobs. The 1970s saw the introduction of commercial walk-through doors, and in 1981, the company added windows to its product lineup. This expansion led to a name change to Omaha Door & Window.
