Midwest Window & Supply boasts a rich history rooted in the skilled craftsmanship of three generations of the Gilkey family. It all began with Harry Gilkey, who cultivated both a thriving family farm and a successful general contracting company. His son, Lee, followed in his footsteps, building homes in the Fox Valley area from the early 1980s.

In 1985, Lee established Trim Works, Inc., specializing in premium custom millwork installation. Guided by his vision of offering a comprehensive and seamless experience, Lee realized the need for a company that could supply and install millwork with the highest quality and craftsmanship. In 1987, Midwest Window & Supply was born.
