Our story began over 60 years ago, when Albert Rodenhouse Sr. started building wooden storm windows in 1939. This was just the beginning of a legacy that would continue to set the standard for excellence in the industry.
Our History
Albert Rodenhouse Sr. was an entrepreneur at heart, and his three sons, Al Jr., Bob, and Ken, carried on the family tradition of owning and operating various businesses. In the 1960s, Ken started building Kaufmann storm windows and doors through his company Griswolds, an exterior remodeler. In 1979, Ken opened Rodenhouse Door and Window, Inc. in Comstock Park, MI. Today, we continue to manufacture quality aluminum products that stand the test of time.
