Northern Glass Company, Inc., has deeply rooted connections to the community, a testament to its enduring legacy since 1949. Our journey began on Newell Street in Watertown, where we established our reputation for providing exceptional glazing services to the construction industry, serving both commercial and residential clients.

Recognizing the need to expand our reach and capabilities, the company relocated to its present location at the intersection of NYS Route 37 and US Route 11 in the early 1960s. This move proved to be a strategic decision, allowing us to better serve a wider clientele and embrace new opportunities. In 1979, John Hill, son of the original owner, took the reins of the company, perpetuating the tradition of excellence that had become synonymous with the Northern Glass name. Under John's leadership, the company witnessed significant growth, undertaking numerous large-scale and innovative projects, showcasing our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This era also marked the expansion of our services to include a retail storefront and auto glass installation, demonstrating our versatility and dedication to meeting the diverse needs of our customers.

In 1992, John and his wife Jean, recognizing the time for a new chapter, entrusted the company to their children, Linda Petrie and Ian Hill. Today, Linda and Ian carry forward the torch, continuing the proud legacy of providing exceptional glazing services throughout the tri-county region.
