Our Story

Founded in 1987 by two experienced lumber and construction men, Howard and Bill, our company's history is rooted in a passion for quality and value. Howard's journey began in the United States Air Force before moving to Diamond Lumber, where he learned the construction industry from the ground up. With a young family to support, Howard quickly rose through the corporate ranks, eventually opening his own door shop in Fairfield, California. It was here that he and Bill formed a lifelong friendship and working relationship that would grow into Howard's Doors.
